When you make it a habit to write thank you notes to your clients and colleagues, chances are they'll remember you the next time they hear someone express a need for your type of business. Why stop there? Write thank you notes to everyone you GIVE business to - florist, doctor, hair dresser, auto mechanic, etc. Thank them for a job well done and include your business card with the note.
