Enjoy both ads and postcards from one design effort.
The goal here was to position Technical Dynamics, Inc. as the top hospital equipment maintenance company. Since both direct mail and ads were needed, this combination postcard and half page ad campaign was created to do both jobs. Each ad features a give-away that helps hospitals understand how to best comply with complicated federal regulations.





Messages that require extra emphasis need more space.
Building up to a message with three pages of light-hearted design is indicative of especially important information and high regard for the reader. It clearly shows that a company will go the extra mile to make exciting new information positively enjoyable to absorb.
         The opportunity for such a complimentary gesture is usually identified by a seasoned pro in the creative or marketing department. Such experience enables them to recognize an uncomfortable fit when they see it. Thus preventing an extra special opportunity from becoming a crowded, dry and unsuccessful advertisement. So when one page won't reasonably accomodate all the good things that need to be said, a designer should recommend how much space will be needed to ensure attention and readability. In addition to an expanded format, a whimsical illustration style is used to set the message apart. Such a strategy works especially well in this publication, as it is normally dominated by product photography. Ad parts two and three are shown below.
