Andy Attiliis has a consistent record of successfully delivering on-time, on-budget, high quality Web designs under normal and tight deadlines. His background includes creative directorships for three advertising agencies. In each position he contributed to the development ad campaigns, corporate identifications and image creation. Such experience has made him an effective translator of traditional materials into Web communications. Important in this transition of design from print to the Internet has been his ability to preserve the integrity of an entity's brand. Through skillful repurposing of existing graphics Attiliis has been able to efficiently design Web sites without losing identity or message mometum. This approach has also benefited clients by keeping the need for new art and copy to a minimum.
Since becoming an independent professional in 1981, nearly every type of business organization has hired Attiliis to help develop communication materials. With focused concentration on improving the continuity of a message's concept and quality, he has often performed multiple creative functions on a single project. His additional experience as an art director, designer and illustrator have made him an extremely efficient single source creative provider.
By 1996 Andy realized that he could not keep up with all the creative and technological demands of Web site development on his own. He soon aligned himself with another creative professional, Mary Gillen, who had been working as an I.T. Specialist and Trainer. In addition, she had over 20 years experience as an advertising writer and marketing consultant. Their first joint Web site design was IdeaSiteForBusiness. Originally conceived, written and technically produced by Mary, Andy joined in to contribute design and illustration enhancements. He has since written and provided the Creative Ideas portfolio section. Other kinds of entities for which he has provided Web design range from association to government agency, telecommunication to distributor.
